Google Doodles Ludwig Mies, the master of Modern Architecture

Want to know something interesting? Why not go to Google and see its latest Doodle? Google pays tribute to one of the well known architects, Ludwig Mies. He is one of the pioneering masters of modern architecture which highly influenced most of the twentieth century architectural style. The building shown in Google Doodle to pay tribute to Ludwig Mies is the S. R. Crown Hall seated at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago which caters it’s College of Architecture.
PhotobucketInterestingly, despite of all these creative architectural designs, it is said that Ludwig Mies didn’t received any formal training though he served as an apprentice with several well known architects which yields his skills until he came up with his own designs and ideas. He died at age of 83 on August 17 1969 and today is Ludwig Mies’ 126th Birthday.
