Tierra De Maria in Tagaytay Cavite

AAAaaa After spending almost an hour with Angels Hills and the Pink Sisters Convent, we took another hour break to have our dinner. It was getting dark and we’re thinking if we should head back to Cavite or find another church in Tagaytay. We are grateful enough to discover this very serene place along Tagaytay-Calamba road, the Tierra De Maria!
ZZZzzzz Tierra De Maria is describe as Mama Mary’s sanctuary for the pilgrims searching for the piece of heart. It is also called as H.O.M.E which wonderfully stands for Haven of Meditation and Enrichment. What makes the place more stunning is the 50-foot majestic image of Mary, Mother of God Queen of Heaven and Earth that welcomes all the pilgrims. Tierra De Maria is a project of Mama Mary’s Movement Foundation Inc and was established on January 1, 2000. They are open daily from 8 am to 6 pm (except when it is Lent season).
P4020748t It was a very serene and heavenly place especially when you go inside where there is a long queue of Marian devotees. Inside the chapel lies life size images of a Crucified Christ and Our Lady of Guadalupe.
xxxxc It was a very silent place despite of having a huge crowd of pilgrims which allows you to feel the solemnity of the place.
zzzzz On the other side of room lies a life-size image of the miraculous Our Lady of Manaoag, the patron of Pangasinan. We were not able to explore the upper floors but according to their official page, the second floor is a pathway of liturgical calendars of the Saints being honored each day. The hand of the 50foot image of Mary can be touched on the third floor while the fourth floor is a meditation room of the Risen Christ and also gives you a nice view of Taal Volcano. The place also offers healing pray over which is conducted daily upon request and also a monthly first Saturday healing mass celebrated by Fr Larry B Faraon.  They also offer Online Prayer Healing, just visit them on their FB page.

Indeed, there’s a lot of religious places like this one nationwide. Since Tagaytay is a quiet place to bond with ourselves and others. Traveling needs the guide of our Lord for safety.

Can you share a story that’s passed on telling about some miracles that happened here? I’m sure that this place is always crowded with believers and tourists.

I have been to Tierra Maria several times and it never fails to instill a feeling that any worries that you’re having the time you visit them will be washed away by God’s grace.

The place seems to be very solemn. Looks like the place is small? Is it? Maybe we should request this kind of places to renovate and make it bigger for all the people who wants to visit. It a must to every place especially if you can see that people has the interest to visit every now and then.

Yes, that is the first thing we noticed too.. even though it was a four story building, the place is noticeably too small to accommodate all the pilgrims.. in fact, when we were there, the queue extends outside the building but it’s definitely worth the wait.. yes I guess they should consider expanding their building

My parents visited this place and told me how beautiful and peaceful it was! I’d love to visit and attend mass there someday too!
