The fastest growing and the leading Online Travel Agency (OTA), Travelbook.PH celebrated the first year anniversary of their Blogger Affiliate Program with a great blast! The event was held at Oakwood Premier Joy-Nostalg Manila in Ortigas Center in Pasig City last Saturday (June 24, 2017) and was attended by top affiliates, bloggers, and members of the press. I was grateful enough to be part of this wonderful event which allows me to finally meet some people from the blogosphere and also the wonderful team behind the TravelBook.PH!
The Blogger Affiliate Program of TravelBook.PH was first launch in June of 2016 and since then the company was able to successfully forge partnerships with Filipino lifestyle and travel bloggers. Interestingly, In just a span of one year, more than 2,700 bloggers and page owners were able to widen their network and turn their online presence into extra income after joining the said program.
Guests were warmly welcomed by Mr Takumi Nakazawa , the General Manager of TravelBookPH who shared us the story behind the success of TravelBook.PH. The company was founded on March 2013 and is constantly growing. As of May 2017, there are 387,000 registered members and almost half a million Facebook Likes as of June 2017. With Blogger Affiliate Program, the bloggers and travelers were given the chance to enjoy their passion in traveling and writing while earning great commissions at the same time. Currently, there are 2,754 Affiliates and still counting!
The event suddenly became a Throwback ceremony when TravelBookPH started to give recognition to the first bloggers who participated in their different programs. David Bernabe of CrowdTravel.ph was the first blogger affiliate of TravelBook.Ph. He was represented by Ms Gela Magsajo
The event host Allan Bough Gokongwei who is also a Travelbook.PH blogger Affiliate (TheFilipinoRambler) and Mean of YogoAndCream were two of the bloggers who joined TravelBook PH’s very first Blogger Getaway in Caramoan. The two bloggers recount all their fun experiences and memories during their trip to Caramoan.
Through the Blogger Affiliate Program, TravelBook.ph was able to reach a wider audience and carry out their mission to encourage more travelers to explore the Philippines. Aside from giving competitive commission rates, the leading OTA also provides exclusive perks and rewards to their affiliates. The affiliates also had all-expenses paid trips and joined exclusive get-togethers where they were able to build their network, meet co-bloggers, and learn from each other.
Ms Pia Bernaldo of TravelBook PH discussed about the Affiliate Trainings that the company can provide for bloggers and their affiliates to improve their performances. They sent out forms for us to fill up and for them to identify which method is the best way to reach us out, the affiliates. The company is more than willing to provide training that will educate us about SEO, how to improve hotel bookings, and how to utilized the promo tools provided by TravelBook.PH.
For every hotel booking made on TravelBook.ph through the affiliate’s site, the company offers commission rates of up to 65%—the highest among similar programs from other OTAs. This made is easy for bloggers and affiliates to earn money and reach the threshold limit!
It doesn’t really matter if you are a newbie blogger or not as long as you know how to utilize the Promo tools and you are clever enough to increase your network and promote program (and earn commissions in return). Charmaine shared her experiences that despite of being new to blogging, she was able to reach the TBAP’s threshold limit in no time! She was actually the first one to withdraw her funds from the affiliate program!
To explain the commissions much further, Ms Pinky Librada talked about TBAP’s Affiliate Commission Structure. TravelBook.PH Affiliate Blogger Program offers the highest commission rate among its competitors. You can get up to 65% commission for 51 and above completed transactions compare to others that require you to reach up to 1000 successful bookings before you can obtain such commission percentage.
Upon achieving different milestones and developing great relationships with blogger affiliates on its first year, TravelBook Blogger Affiliate Program only aims to further strengthen its partnerships in the years to come.
