Wild Pokemon Appears!

P5051784 While at Loreland, I had this strange encounter with a lizard-like creature. I can hardly tell what kind of lizard is this. I just saw it crawling in great speed until it reaches out a branch near our cottage. Obviously it is not a lizard that we typically see at home. It is not a “Timbabalak” either since this one doesn’t have a shiny snake-like skin. I don’t think it is a “Bayawak” either since it is too small for their specie.
P5051778 If I didn’t see this lizard moving, you can barely see that it was there. The skin matches the trunk so well that makes it look like this lizard was a part of it. It might be a specie of Gecko or something.. or maybe….. maybe…. it’s a Pokemon… Yikes, unfortunately I didn’t have my pokeballs that time LOL

definitely will not be spotting that little creature if one has not looked closely, it is just having a great camouflage power, for survival of course..

hmm, you called that “bayawak” in tagalog, we also have the term “biawak” in our language, that’s close!! haha.. 🙂

hope this little pocket monster (ie pokemon) did not jump into the house and frightened the ladies :p

is biawak also a specie of lizard in your country? I guess we have so many terms that are pronounced the same yet spelled different and still have the same meaning huh

Oh my goodness!! I had goose bumps looking at this lizard that matched the tree’s trunk. I might faint if it moved and caught me off guard.
