List of Churches and Chapels In Las Piñas and Parañaque For Visita Iglesia

21428860253_8268dd7240_zt Today, I want to share another list of churches and chapels that you might want to consider visiting this coming Holy Week. In case you are in Cavite or planning to visit the Cavite Province for Holy Week, feel free to check my first list of Churches in Cavite for Visita Iglesia or you might consider visiting a Retreat Center or Pilgrim sites near Manila, Here’s the list for you! I was able to explore some churches in Las Piñas last year and I had an unplanned pilgrimage in Parañaque last month (will blog it soon) so allow me to share a list them all here since Las Piñas and Parañaque were not too far from each other.

They just celebrated the 41th Bamboo Organ Festival last week in commemoration of the 200th Anniversary of their Bamboo organ pipes which is still functional up to this day.

They also have a huge Chapel of Saints underneath.21861826790_e7e8e9c8eb_z (1)6. Shrine of The Five Wounds of Our Lord Jesus Christ– This is probably one of the most modern church I have ever visited. The story behind the architecture is really interesting as the architect patterned it to a marine organism known as “nautilus”. It is located in Alabang-Zapote Rd., (Talon Uno), Las Piñas City

Number one church in Las Pinas is ancient while number eleven is majestic! I often see number six whenever we go to my husband’s parents’ home and yes you are right, its a modern looking church! Hehe

Lovely! Our churches really are a sight to see, aside from their attractive history. Bigla kong na-miss yung Binondo posts mo, hahaha, for some reason. Awesome!

I am not that much of a devout Catholic but I do love visiting churches. I have not been to any of those you mentioned, but I sure hope I can visit them one day soon! 🙂

Hi, I’ve seen a church almost across SM Bicutan (it can be seen if you’re on your way to Better Living). Is that a Catholic Church? Do you happen to know the name and street?

Hi, is your list mga parish church lang? Check out as well the Our Lady of Fatima Church, Philam Life Villlage LP. If mga small churches, include as well St. Monica, Don Galo PQ and the small but grand St Dionysius, La Huerta, PQ.
Visita iglesias are traditionally nilalakad- i will share my route. every morning of Good Friday.
    1. National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help
    2. Saint Rita de Cascia’s Church
    3. Saint Monica’s Church
    4. Saint Andrew’s Cathedral
    5 Saint Dionysius Chapel
    6 Saint Joseph’s Church
    7 Saint Ezekiel Moreno’s Church
Wear comfortable rubble shoes, bring umbrella, small towel, and water. If you start 5am at Baclaran church, you will reach Villar Sipag by 9am, by foot! I pray 2 Stations of the Cross per church plus 1 decade of Sorrowful Mystery per Church. On the 6th Church will be Hail Holy Queen. 7th Church will be the Litany of Loreto and Memorare.
