Notre Dame De Vie Chapel At Palazzo Verde (Formerly Fernbrooks Garden)

If you guys remember my previous post about that gorgeous-looking church that we saw while passing through the newly opened Daang Hari- SLEX link road or better known now as the MCX Expressway, well this time, we will have a closer look to this cozy place. My Aunt and I decided to attend the mass here two days after we had our road trip in Las Piñas. This place is formerly known as the Fernbrooks Garden which is now called the “Palazzo Verde”. The place is more likely to be considered as a “wedding venue”. The place is huge but generally not a church. It’s a very huge garden reception venue designed and created by Al De Veyra who is also the mastermind behind the famous Fernwood Gardens in Metro North. You might have seen this church on TV as it is known as the venue for Carmina and Zoren Legaspi wedding.11222186_922924157782038_8602839742009408541_nteUnlike the Bamboo Organ Church and the Santuario De San Ezekiel Moreno, it is quite a challenge to get here. You can reach this place using the SLEX, Alabang-Zapote road or through SM Molino Road (get the directions here). It was really an engaging view and it feels like exploring a very different place. Palazzo Verde displays an exquisite glamour and feel of the Victorian era which makes this place even more romantic!  P8091433tGenerally, this place offers five venues including the Byzantine 1 & 2, Victorian 1 & 2 and Colonial Ballroom. Unfortunately, these are no longer accessible for church-goers. They no longer allow random visitors to take a peek of their venues unless you are there to inquire about the venue and their prices.
P8091439tHere’s the entrance to their Grand Conservatory. It was open to public before but according to the guard, their management decided to make it exclusive because a lot of people were taking advantage to the place (they litter and pick up their plants which ruins the venue). P8091434tYou will also be welcomed by this nature-friendly fountain outside the venue. P8091437tThe Grand Conservatory imposes hundred foot high dome-like structure where you can find a grand sculptured fountain, waterfalls, and a wide variety of trees and plants that create a lush garden. In addition to that, you’ll also have a chance to see their luxury and classic cars (you can check some of my aunt’s old photos here). You may not have a chance to see them if you are just a regular visitor but you’ll get a chance to witness their gorgeous gold carriage outside the venue! It’s a great photo opportunity haha! Take note that this is not a display but a fully functional carriage (with real horses) which can be rented by the wedding couple. (It feels like a fantasy where the bride or even just a debutant or a birthday celebrant can imagine herself attending a royal ball). P8091440And there goes my mom making sure not to miss the opportunity to have a photo with this golden carriage haha.
P8091442tSome topiary outside the Palazzo Verde. You can have access to the chapel by heading towards the back of the Grand Conservatory. ZasczzzThe view from the back of the Grand Conservatory and one of their indoor venue.
ZxcdsfdHere comes the Notre Dame De Vie Chapel. This is where the couple can have a beautiful ceremony and exchange their vows. This is just one of the options for the couples because the place also offers a venue for garden wedding. A garden gazebo can be an alternative ceremony venue for non-catholic couples ZzzzxzzThe facade of the Notre Dame De Vie Chapel
ZsasddfThe chapel is embracing a Baroque-like architecture with some modern approach to it. Instead of pews, this chapel has tiffany Chairs on it and also a garden altar that somehow reminds me of the Our Lady of Fatima Church in Binakayan Cavite. P8091446tThe very serene garden altar of Notre Dame De Vie Chapel SaasdsdThe chapel is connected to the Grand Conservatory through a gilded foot bridge over their so-called Palazzo Verde Canal. zxsasasThe Palazzo Verde Canal. One of their most interesting features is the Venetian-inspired Gondola ride. This is a fully functional gondola where couples can use! ZasxcdfdgSpotted the Gondola here!
ZxczdsddEven there is a foot bridge from the chapel, visitors are still not allowed to get inside. I just asked one of their crews to bring my iPad and take a shot of their fountain. So there! It’s the best shot I got LOL. By the way, they held the mass here every Sunday, one at 7Am and another one at 10:30am. Baptism is ever 11:30am. Xcsdsds

Nakita ko ito sa Internet. You are correct. This is not a church but a just a [erfect venue made to look like a church. Kung ako ang tatanungin ay hindi ako magpapakasal dito. I still prefer my wedding to be in a real church.

Palazzo is a beautiful wonderland. We live right beside this dreamland! The Glass House sparkles at night! A must see and a must visit. The Coffee Project branch here is the most elegant and most beautiful, in my view!
