Passing Through The Newly Opened Daang Hari-SLEX Link Road ~ MCX (Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway)

P7260717Before posting any of the Churches in Batangas, I just want you to share our wonderful experience in passing through the newly opened Daang Hari- SLEX Link Road or better known as the Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway or MCX, a 4-kilometer extension of Daang Hari Road that will pass through the New Bilibid Prison reservation and connects Bacoor, Cavite to the South Luzon Expressway in Muntinlupa near San Pedro, Laguna. P7260715The road was officially opened to traffic on July 24, 2015 and first one to drive here is no other than President Noy. The toll road, the first Public Private Partnership (PPP) project under the administration of President Benigno Aquino III with Ayala Corporation, will run from the junction with Daang Reyna east towards the Susana Heights interchange of SLEX traversing the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) Reservation in Muntinlupa.
P7260719eThe main objective here is to provide an alternative route to/from Metro Manila/Cavite, and improve Region IV–A’s/CALABARZON’s competitiveness as an investment destination, to decongest traffic in Cavite, Las Piñas, and Muntinlupa and to reduced travel time by an average of 45 minutes from Daang Hari to Alabang Interchange. At this moment, motorists can enjoy a free use of the Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway for the first month! (From July 24 to August 23) P7260716eThe MCX Toll Card will be issued to the drivers (during the free toll days) and will be surrendered afterwards as you exit the expressway. For inquiry, you can always check their Facebook Page : Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (They will surely answer your inquiries about the toll fees, direction and more) P7260714eA view of the Fernbrook Gardens in Las Pinas (I just went here last Sunday and will blog about this luxurious chapel/wedding venue soon)

it looks like this expressway is a well planned project that serves very important purposes.. we have expressways and links built like almost everyday and all I know is we have to suffer from massive traffic congestion during the constructions and then pay expensive tolls after the constructions, haha!! anyway, that is a very beautiful view of the Fernbrook Garden in Las Pinas from the expressway.. 🙂
