And so my Auntie and I decided to visit this famous Halo-Halo in Bacoor. If you will be asked to list down the best Halo Halo in the Philippines, Digman will definitely make it on the list! The store is located in Barangay Digman which is just few blocks away from the town plaza. Currently, there are two stores in the area, one is the BC2 Digman Original Halo Halo (Talk of the Town) and the other one is the The Original Digman Halo-Halo and Home Made Siopao.

Gawaran St. We found out that they offer cheaper Halo-halo compare to the other store for some reason.P4080921e The Original Digman Halo-Halo and Home Made Siopao located along H Rubio St. This one is neater and seemingly air-conditioned (but not sure). They also offer rice meals like Tapsilog and others which is not being offered to the other store. The store however is fully occupied that time so we decided to try the other one. After all, they almost got identical menu.P4080924e Your Bacoor escapade will not be completed without dropping by at Digman’s Halo-halo. They have been serving this crazy delight since 1969 and they even claim to introduce Halo-Halo in the country. Anyway, what is really special with their Halo-Halo and everyone is buzzing about them? Well, Digman’s Halo-halo is known for their overwhelming ingredients. They got over Twelve ingredients for their Halo-halo and they also top it with a home-made ice cream too.P4080930e You have two option for their Halo-Halo, the Regular (Php45.00) and the Special (Php55.00). They are just the same except for the fact that Special Halo-Halo has a scoop of their home made ice cream on top. P4080931e The ingredients of their Halo Halo includes Gulaman, Saging Saba , Sweetened Beans, Ube Halaya, Garbanzos, Red beans, Leche Plan, Macapuno, Sago, Nata De Coco, Kaong, Pinipig and Ice cream. Of course it includes the crushed ice and evaportated milk.P4080926e Aside from their Halo-Halo, they also got other special dishes on their menu including this yummy Pancit Palabok (Php 45.00). They also got Pancit Guisado too. IMG_20150408_124937e They are also known for their home made siopao. It was not that big yet it is filled with mouthful Pork Asado inside. We also ordered Mami and Tokwa’s Baboy. P4080935eAnother thing that you will notice right after you enter the store are the numerous photos and news clippings featuring their famous halo halo. P4080936eSeveral celebrities and high profile personalities have been here to try this talk of the town delight!

If you are coming from Manila. Just take a Dasmarinas bound bus and drop by at Talaba Bacoor Junction (near the St Dominic College). From there, ride a jeepney bound for Binakayan and tell the driver to drop you at The Bacoor Municipal Hall. Once you get there, you can ask anyone to tell you where the Digman is but you can just head right and walk few blocks until you hit the Barangay Digman where the two stores were located. They also got the newly opened Digman Cafe.
If you are coming from any Western Cavite coastal towns (Kawit-Cavite City-Rosario-Tanza-Gen. Trias-Naic-Maragondon-Ternate), simply take a bus bound to Bacoor and drop by at Gen Evangelista St (the intersection afterpassing the “tulay” across Tirona Highway. Take A jeep and tell the driver to drop you at Digman!

This is the same Digman Halo-halo sandosenang sangkap at the SM food courts before, right? I prefer Digman halo-halo but it seems they are no longer available here in Manila.
