Tweed Fender Deluxe

I just came across this video showcasing a nice demo of four of the classic Fender Deluxe amps from the 1950’s. The Fender Deluxe Amps during the 50’s are more commonly known as the “tweed deluxe” simply because of their covering, a light brown unfinished woolen fabric which definitely give these ampliers their own identity. The video shows four generations of Tweed Fender Deluxe (the 1950, 1955, 1958 and 1959). The style was drastically changed through out the decade and so as their quality! I personally find the 1959 Tweed Fender Deluxe the best among them. How we wish we can still avail such vintage instrument but they are no longer easy to be found. Interestingly, Fender came up with the resissue version of their Blues Deluxe which captures the vintage look of the original Tweed Fender amps way back in the 50s.  Aside from the appearance, they also managed to capture the quality of the sound and they are as good as the original and is obtainable in a very affordable price. It’s definitely a great catch for the guitar enthusiasts!
