It’s been a year now since i last worked in a call center industry. It was tough yet a very enjoying experience. Until now, i can still feel the pressure and stress and not to mention the schedule that will certainly change your sleeping habit. I was in a Technical account and our client is an Internet Service Provider. We usually assist the customer if there’s a problem with their connection and sometime we walk them through installation process (in case they’re new). We’re dealing with irate customers most of the time (which is the biggest challenge that every agent could have) Of course we have to change their mood by giving them a very satisfying service and we have to do our best to resolve their concern. We also have to meet our so called “metrics” in which we are being monitored and graded. Stressing indeed but it was such a rewarding experience for every good calls you have. I’m not sure if i will consider to have this job again but we’ll see.
