Museo De San Ezekiel Moreno

P8071342tAside from the huge colombarium, you can also find a small museum beside the Santuario De San Ezekiel Moreno church. It is a very small museum indeed and there is nothing grand to offer except for a small relic that is displayed which serves as the small museum’s highlight.
P8071359t What you can find inside the museum is a small wooden image of San Ezekiel (St. Ezequiel Moreno) and a pair of display table containing booklets about the life of miracles of San Ezekiel and also also the small relic. P8071355tThe image of Saint Ezekiel and as you can see, the walls display interesting information regarding the history of Las Piñas and facts in relation with San Ezekiel.P8071354tIt also features an interesting ceiling displaying an old map of Las PiñasP8071357tHere’s a closer view of the relic. There is an “Ex ossibus” on it which means “from the bones”. Therefore, this is considered a first class relic. P8071360tMy mom and my aunt.

This ends my first day trip/ Church visitation in Las Piñas. This is followed by another visitation two days after. It’s a very cozy venue! Next post: Notre Dame De Vie Chapel at Fernbrooks Garden.

For the mean time, feel free to visit my previous entries below!

Thanks for sharing about San Ezekiel. This is the first time hearing his name. Your mum and aunt look like sisters.

hmmm, that is indeed a very very, very very mini museum, way smaller than I have expected it to be, haha!! anyway, probably they are going to extend the place and place in more exhibits abs artifacts soon?? though small it is, I kind of like it being tidy and organized, errr, it shouldn’t be tough at all to tidy and organize such a mini museum right?? hehe.. 🙂

It’s nice that you get to learn about San Ezekiel and also a bit of the history of Las Pinas.
