A Trip To Binondo : Sincerity Restaurant
After our quick visit to Santa Cruz Church, we decided to have an early dinner at Sincerity Restaurant which is situated on Yuchengko Street. This is not really my first time here and honestly I had a bad experience the last time I went here. I just find their service so lame that you had to wait for more than 45 minutes just for your orders to be served! The crews are not so approachable either. But hey, that was my first impression but I don’t want that to be the last so I gave them another shot. After all, their chicken is extremely good! hahaIt is a two-story building but not really spacious. I think we had to wait for more than half an hour just to get a table but our orders were bein taken already while we are still waitin for our turn. Check out the overwhelming amount of customers inside! Oh by the way, they got a much more spacious branch in Lucky China Town too.Our table is situated on the second floor and before going upstairs, you’ll find these framed plates with signatures of celebrities and high profile personalities who already visited this resto. The second floor of Sincerity Restaurant! I find it more comfortable here. As for my previous experience, my mom and I went here last year. We ordered their pack lunch and their halo-halo. To my dismay, the dessert was served to us before the meal. I thought our orders will follow few minutes after the Halo-halo but we waited for another 45 minutes just for the meal to be served and since it is a halo-halo, the ice melted and it gave us no choice but to finish the dessert before our meals arrived. The crew was not even approachable and it feels like we are not really welcomed in that place haha. Anyway, past is past so I moved on LOL. Here’s their halo-halo by the way!The taste of Langka (Jackfruit) is very strong here!Sincerity Fried Rice (I still love the Kiampong and I don’t know how the Machang tastes like)Special KikiamPork SiomaiSincerity Fried Chicken
After our fulfilling dinner, it’s time for the pasalubong! So we headed to Ho-Land Bakery which is just few blocks away from Sincerity

I’m from Cebu, but I’ve heard so much about this restaurant in Binondo! I also heard there are lots of must-try dining places there (also, seeing from your relate posts list). Would really want to check your posts out! 🙂
I went here recently because of the WSFC Safari, but it’s not the chicken that made an impression on me, it’s the oyster omelette. That was some sucky experience you had there the first time, I mean halo-halo before the meal? That’s so thoughtless of them. But kudos to you for giving them a second chance.
Their special Kikiam looks goooood! I’m so jealous that you could update your blog posts that quick. Haha! You’ve been to many churches and restos. You’ve eaten so many foods na! *Inggit* Hahaha!
Looking forward to your future blog posts!
Damn, Mr. Milton, back at it with the Binondo posts again (though seriously, I’m not complaining, haha). Great food/resto review. I normally don’t bother going back to a place which didn’t give me a good first impression, but this proves that maybe they were just having a bad day.
Good dishes and bad service was what happened. I could forgive them over here. I think the management was sucks with short handed staff to serve. Maybe you should blast them in Facebook or emails.
Your food photos looked yummy. No wonder many celebrities dined there too.
now i miss binondo,., its been a while since i visited this place. will definitely ask my cousins to go with me and check out this resto soon! Thanks for the informative post
I’m actually looking forward to your Binondo restaurant posts and these articles has got me planning a foodie trip with friends soon! I’m not so much into fried food but I think I’m gonna like the special kikkiam.
Not sure. But I think this is where we last ate when I visited there for our Manila trip.
I miss this. If only Manila is more friendly or safer and the travel is less of a hassle. I love going there for the food.
I miss these kind of food. and oh, the halo-halo would ne perfect for the upcoming summer.
At my age, I haven’t gone to this side of Binondo yet 🙁 now, at this time of the night, 30 minutes before 12 MN, you are making me drool… huhu… i want chinese food!!! I think Im missing much of Binondo, I need to ask my mom to accompany me here. Bec she’s familiar with the place 🙂 ♥
Good thing you posted this! A new place to go to when I go to Binondo! Thank you for sharing this review 🙂 The food looked so yummy!
Poor customer service is a really big turnoff for me….even if the food is good…
Now I know what restaurant to visit if I ever go there! Your pictures make all seem super yammy – maybe because it is? 🙂
Awesome post! Everything here looks so great & yummy. Now I’m hungry though… LOL
It’s awful when you get bad service especially getting your dessert first, if that was in the Uk there would be outrage! Haha! but good of you to give it another go. The food looks delicious.
The good looks delicious! I had similar experience myself, when the place was small but popular so we literally had to wait outside until we got the table.. not cool.
Wow! I love reading your review. The food looks good. We have a place here in Rhode Island (United States) that serves hibachi and sushi – the place is HORRIBLE – the service and wait time… but the food is EXCELLENT! Kudos to the sushi chef.
Great article! 🙂
Oh my that kikiam and fried rice looks delicious. 🙂 I still can’t wait to tour around Binondo.
What delectable food! I super miss authentic Asian dishes one will find in the outskirts of Manila. Here in Scandinavia, the closest to authentic is when you try the Filipino dishes yourself. But you will have to do lots of improvisation, as many ingredients are not readily available. 🙂 Nice you enjoyed your food trip!
I am from the US and never traveled outside. I love reading travel blogs like yours to experience places I may never get to experience. This place looks so neat and I pray one day I can go. Thanks for sharing!!
Sincerity’s garnered fame is all because of one dish – fried chicken! There have been talks that it’s the best fried chicken in town. I will definitely have a try on my visit to Manila!
I love reading your reviews and seeing the pictures of the food at this restaurant! It looks good and a lot of fun even though the service wasn’t that great. I would have been ticked if they served me dessert first just because I would have made myself sick with it and then not wanted to eat the meal!
If I am not mistaken they sell Sincererity chicken on Robinsons Magnolia, in the foodcourt. Ive tasted their chicken and they taste good!
When it comes to restaurants in Binondo, Sincerity Restaurants holds a very high reputation for its delicious food. I may not often come here, but when I do I really enjoy eating here a lot.
Did this visit change your perception of them? I would love to try the halo-halo dessert – looks so tasty!
The food looks great! Right now I’m hungry. But this is a well cooked article (excuse the pun lol)! 🙂
Great visuals indeed, I must say. Do you often visit restaurants to have quick bites?
