Residence Inn In Tagaytay ~ Animal Encounters And Zipline!
After a quick tour in Paradizoo in Mendez, Cavite, our team was treated with a quick trip to Residence Inn in Tagaytay. If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Tagaytay, Residence Inn is probably one of the most ideal option not just because of its affordable rates but also because of its unique features including a mini zoo, a bunch of fun activities and a serene location overlooking the famous Taal Lake!
Much like the Paradizoo, Residence Inn also created a balanced ecosystem where you can find an overwhelming amount of animals placed in spacious and well maintained environment. ZooRI offers a set of simple yet spacious and cozy rooms, a bunch of different attractions including animal encounters, photobooths, a view deck overlooking Taal Lake, ziplines, aviary, serpentarium and a whole lot more.
RESIDENCE INN ACCOMMODATIONS
We managed to take a quick peak to two of their VIP Rooms. The two rooms are very much identical and both are well furnished. They are both complete with living amenities and each of them were adorned by interesting Safari-inspired concept!
This is actually the hallway connecting the two rooms but I am not sure why there are mattresses here (maybe guests can use this extra space to accommodate additional visitors maybe?)
The bathroom. They just really love those zebra patterned curtains .. don’t you think
For more details about their rates, you can visit them in their site at http://www.zoomanitypayment.com. They also offer bundle packages with Paradizoo in Mendez.
SERPENTARIUM
Much like their attractions in Zoobic, ZooRI also offers a Serpentarium which displays wide range of animals including fishes, reptiles and a wide variety of insects too!
A huge snake
Tarantula
Scorpion
Cockroaches
ANIMAL ENCOUNTERS
We are so lucky to witness a newly born cub. It’s a 25 day old cub and it was not yet revealed to public. The cub was just taken away from her mother so the zookeepers can provide all the proper care it needs.
A Parrot
There’s also a camel here too!
And he’s a sneaky one haha! I appreciate the fact that you can interact with this animals upclose! And they are all seemingly very healthy!
THE VIEW DECK AND ZIPLINES
One of the most popular attractions in Residence Inn is the Zipline and their famous view deck that allows you to get a nice overlooking view of Taal Lake!
The Taal Volcano as viewed from the Residence Inn View Deck
Of course, a trip to Residence Inn will not be completed without trying out their Zipline and Cable cars! For just Php150 , you can try their ziplines while embracing the wonderful view of Taal Lake!

We used to frequent this place years back when my kids are little. We take them there on weekends and they enjoy so much of the animal encounters. Years back the animals are few and the place is not that nice, i even get headache from smelly poops! But looks like now they’ve upgraded the place and they added more attractions like the zipline. My son loves horseback riding there!
