St Therese And The Child Of Jesus Parish in Lipa Batangas
After Sto Tomas, we headed right away to Lipa, Batangas and our first stop is a modern church, the St Therese of the Child Of Jesus Parish. Lipa is a home for several old churches including the San Sebastian Cathedral and that makes this parish quite distinctive above the rest. This dainty parish located at the outskirts of the City, along the Alaminos-Lipa Road. The church is relatively new compare to other churches in Lipa and is built in Modern American style. Since the San Sebastian Cathedral tend to be very congested and overcrowded, this church can be a perfect alternative site to visit. They got daily mass every 6am from Mondays to Fridays, 6am and anticipated mass every Saturdays and 10:30 am and 6pm mass every Sundays. Due to its very unique design, I find the facade quite confusing. I’m not sure which one is the front phase. Here’s the stained glass windows from the outside. One of the entrances to the church. The church’s nave and altar A closer view to the main altar. Very simple and neat! The view from the choir loft The images from the stained glass window depicting the story of St Therese.I also found this collection of Saints and other images. They’re probably using them during their feast day! The baptismal font Images of Blessed Loius & Zelie Martin (Parents of St Therese) Image of Saint Michael Archangel Outside the church lies the “Chapel of Saints” which was established four years ago. The overwhelming amount of Saints and Images inside the small chapel. Votive candle rack At the back of the church, you’ll get a stunning view and landscape of Mt. Malarayat Golf and Country Club Outside also lies a wonderful grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes Our team also got an opportunity to take a photo with the parish priest Rev Fr Eugene Peñalosa III. Can you find me here? LOL

this modern church must be standing out from the ancient churches within the vicinity.. you also mentioned it’s an alternative to the crowded church nearby..
very neat and sleek design and the white theme makes it look pure and noble.. I like the facade and especially those very beautiful stained glass, thumbs up for the design!!
the view of the golf club is also stunning too!! I guess this is also a good place to go.. you got yourself purified in the church and then you go to the back for such an impressive view, it’s totally relaxing and one sure feel calm and serene looking at the breathtaking scene.. 🙂
