Sta Cruz Parish Church (Holy Cross Parish) In Tanza Cavite
Our next destination after the Naic Church is located on the town of Tanza Cavite. Sta Cruz Parish Church (Holy Cross Parish Church) is another old church in Cavite and was established on August 29, 1780. I’ve been here several times especially during the Feast Day of Saint Augustine (the patron saint of Tanza) and recently during the 51st Eucharistic Congress Pilgrim Symbol church visitation. The church also has a huge historical significance which can be seen in their Convent Musuem (this is where the Historical Oathtaking in Tanza took place). We went there just a day after they celebrated their feast day so we were welcomed by a great crowd. It also started to rain so I didn’t took much photos. There was also a bazaar outside making it harder to take a nice shot of their facade. The church’s facade (taken on my recent visit).
