How To Avoid Backaches
A lot of backaches are caused by lying in a soft chair for long periods while watching television or reading. This puts a strain on the middle of the spine and hampers circulation to it. This causes the tissues and the intervertabral discs to break down. The main vertebrae then rub against each other through the collapsed discs. Two thirds of all backaches are caused by poor posture. If you want to avoid backache, practice good posture. Sit up straight, do not slouch , stand erect with shoulders back. Mild exercise in the form of walking is often an excellent way of getting relief from lower back pains. Hot baths, massages and heat treatments are others.
