Visita Iglesia 2012 Part 3

PhotobucketThis is a continuation from my Visita Iglesia 2012 entries. So After visiting St John Bosco Church Makati, I went to Redemptorist Church or more popularly known as the Baclaran Church. It is also known as the National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. The shrine is one of the largest Marian churches in the Philippines, authorized by the Holy See to remain open 7 days a week for 24 hours a day, and houses one of the most venerated and celebrated Marian images in the country, called Our Mother of Perpetual Help, to which miraculous powers and historic events are ascribed.

And since, i got a wrong leaflet to read, I decided to buy a new one in front of the said church. I decided to repeat the first two stations again and another 2 stations as well. Generally speaking, I did 4 Stations of the Cross at Baclaran Chruch.

While in Baclaran, i got a text message from my mom and my auntie that they will be starting their visitation. They will start in Cavite so I’m afraid I can’t go along with them.

Anyway, after the Baclaran Church, I went to Cavite immediately.  I went to the wonderful and historical Church of Kawit Cavite.

It is also known as the Santa Maria Magdalena Church. The first church made of wood was constructed in 1638 with the help of six families from Silang and Maragondon. It is indeed one of the oldest churches in Cavite.
