Our Lady Of Fatima Parish Church Binakayan, Kawit Cavite
Last May, we were able visit the probably most serene church here in Cavite, the new Our Lady of Fatima Parish Church in Binakayan, Kawit Cavite. The place will bring you in such a cozy atmosphere and what really makes it more distinctive above any church is its nature-friendly Altar.
The open-air altar will showcase a huge grotto of Our Lady of Fatima along with the three children Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco. The moment you will enter the church, you will witness its very relaxing and solemn atmosphere and it’s probably the best experience we’ve ever had. On top of that, we are so lucky that the church is celebrating their feast day that time and we saw some caroza being prepared for the procession later.
It is said to be the home of the miraculous and episcopally crowned image of “Nuestra Señora Del Rosario De Fatima”, the patroness of Binakayan. This church is relatively new and was constructed on December 12, 1996 (17 years to be exact ~turning 14 this coming December). I am not sure yet if the old church is still active but if you want to visit the place, you have to inform the drivers first whether you want to visit the New or the Old Fatima Church.
The place , in general is very ideal for wedding and is also a great one to be added on your list of churches during the pilgrimage. Stained glass Ceiling in Our Lady of Fatima Parish Church

The church’s altar and reredos may be unique, but it would be better if the tabernacle was placed at the center.
The old parish church is still active. Masses are still celebrated there.
