17 Most Exciting Booths From ToyConPh2016

5. The Artists Booth
IMG_0204tFilipinos are really talented in almost every field and graphic designing in not an exemption. These talented men showed of their impressive drawing skills at the event. You will be impressed on how seamless their works are and I still find it disappointing that the comic industry in our country were not receiving any support from our government! They should bring the comic industry back on the mainstream and let these men show off their skills not just in our country but also to the other part of the world. IMG_0316tIt seems like they are also promoting their very own comics too! All their finished art are being sold in such appealing price which can be availed for as low as Php50.

6. iFlix Photo Booth
IMG_0208tiFlix has one of the largest booths from the events and they were offering a very engaging gimmick! It’s a photobooth which allows event goers to have a picture with any of their iFlix cosplayers. A photographer will take a picture of you (no need for selfie) and you can grab the hardcopy afterwards! IMG_0209tThey offer different themes inspired from different movies and tv shows (probably offered by iFlix) including Kill Bill, Resident Evil and Arrows. Each them has their own cosplayer to accompany you in the photo13434112_483367331858451_705309456_npHere’s my picture with that gorgeous lady wearing Alice’ costume from Resident evil (bagay ba kame? LOL)

7. Stan Lee Excelsior Exhibition
IMG_0213tAs I said, ToyCon is now being recognized by international media and what they offer this year is extremely special. One of the most interesting highlights of the event is the Stan Lee Excelsior exhibition. Nothing can be more appropriate to be featured in the Toy convention other than the man who is behind our favorite comic characters like Spiderman, X-Men, Avengers, Fantastic Four, Dead Pool and more!

The term “excelsior” is a catchphrase that is often used by Stan Lee at the end of his every column and since then, it has become his trademark motto. Stan Lee’s Excelsior Exhibition will showcase private collection of Marvel through the years  including vintage comic covers, movie props, rare memorabilia, original artwork and high-end collectibles.IMG_0220tThe exhibit also features Marvel’s official merchandises and licensed toy collectibles.  Each item has a signature either from Stan Lee or the actor who portrayed such role in the movie.  IMG_0217tAnt-Man #1 Movie Variant Edition Cover signed by Paul RuddIMG_0218tSpiderman Sketch and Signed by Stan LeeIMG_0219tPlaque honoring Stan Lee’s Hollywood Walk of FameIMG_0222tDeadpool Memorabilla
