Supporting Jessica Sanchez

The heat is on once again. Even though American Idol is not as exciting as before, i still have the reason to watch the show especially now that another Filipina made it through the Top 13. Yup! I’m referring to Jessica Sanchez who blew away the competition last week despite of some vocal problems before the performance night. She was able to deliver Jennifer Hudson’s Love You I Do well, earning a standing ovation from the audience and from the judges as well. Jessica is from San Diego, California, and is 16 years old. She auditioned in San Diego, California. Before Idol, she was first known for her appearance on the first season of America’s Got Talent. She’s a half Filipina, half Mexican. With out knock-out performance, Jessica made it to Top 13. Comparing her to other Filipina finalists from the previous seasons like Ramielle Malubay and Thia Megia, I must say that she’s more likely to nail it to top 5 or even higher. Go Jessica! We’re proud of you! By the way, another Asian made it too! It’s Heejun Han. A Korean-American so i will be rooting for his AI journey too. Go for gold guys!
