This diet is based on the foods of vegetable origin but allows eating some dairy products like cheese, milk, and honey. However, eggs are prohibited according to this specific ratio as eating them would be like killing an embryo, life. Getting milk or honey animals are not hurt. Lacto-vegetarianism is also considered to be a perfect diet for those who value healthy living as it decreases the amount of cholesterol in the blood and fills the body with such nutritious elements like Calcium, vitamins D, B12 and proteins. Despite this fact, some of the diaries contain too much fat, if you want to use this diet to lose weight. Among them are cottage cheese, butter, and crème. To sum up, going on a well-planned Lacto-vegetarian diet will do you no harm and will be a great choice if you are tired of crash diets and miss the variety of products.

Macrobiotic diet

This one is based on the philosophy of the East (a balance of Yin and Yan). In general, if you will go on such a diet you will be allowed to eat whole grained gramineous (oats, buckwheat etc.), beans. Fruits should be limited. Forget about exotic fruits like oranges, bananas, kiwis, avocados. Some dried fruits, however, can be taken in. The greatest benefit about the diet among other vegan ones is the fact that you are permitted to eat fish meat. This diet, in general, is perfect for women as it stabilizes a number of female hormones in our body. Therefore, the risk of cancer and other diseases that women suffer from most of all is decreased. A macrobiotic diet can be considered too strict as it eliminates many micro elements and vitamins from your daily ratio.     My! There are indeed different kinds of diet. I never thought eating egg, for instance, is something to be considered as well. And I find those who follow such kind of diet as truly dedicated.

    Wow, this is too broad to assimilate. It is something interesting that would actually encourage me to venture into vegetarian diets. Yes, this is quite challenging as we Filipinos are really into tempting and luscious, but unhealthy food. Thank you so much for providing such an informative post about vegetarian diets.     Oh! This is the first time I came across of such vegetarians.I only thought that vegetarians are those who only eat plant based food.But,avoiding spices even those come from plants is really new to me.Anyway recently I met a person who is a vegetarian,but avoid food items such as mushrooms too.Interesting post.Thanks for sharing such knowledge!

    I eat meat, veggies and fruits. And although I love vegetables, like you, I don’t think I’ll ever survive just eating meat. Really does require a lot of self-discipline on this one. Just the of my favorite foods, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to resist them. lol. But wow, so among the vegans are a different type of vegans pa pala. Ang galing!
